There's No Such Thing as a Collective Leadership

The huge losses suffered by the ruling coalition in the recently ended Malaysian general Elections is a lesson soon forgotten. Already those in power are digging in to protect the small turf that's left. Revelations can be blinding and that is why people tend to instinctively cover their faces or bury them in the sand.

The people of Malaysia are generally decent people and they deserve better than what they have gotten so far. And no, Tun Musa,( see Berita Harian, 11 Mac, page 2 : " Prestasi buruk parti tak wajar dipikul Abdullah seorang: Musa Hitam" ) I disagree with you; there can be collective responsibility but there cannot be collective leadership. In war, the General alone must bear the full blame for failed strategy.
